On Wednesday, 25th November 2015, an Extraordinary Cabinet Meeting chaired by the Right Honourable Prime Minister, MUREKEZI Anastase, convened in Village URUGWIRO.
The Cabinet Meeting, after considering the letter of 24/11/2015 addressed to the Right Honourable Prime Minister by the Speaker of Chamber of Deputies, requesting him that legal provisions regarding referendum on 2015 Revised Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 04 June 2003 be enforced;
Pursuant to Articles 109 and 193 of the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 04 June 2003, as amended to date;
Considering where the Country has come from, its achievements and future perspectives;
The Cabinet Meeting approved to request His Excellency the President of the Republic to call a Referendum on 2015 Revised Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 04 June 2003.
