Police has shown to the participants that currently a small number of local leaders are increasingly getting involved into drug smuggling ;something that complicates the tracking of the drug traders.

Crimes that are being committed in the country are closed related to the use of unauthorized beverages, smoking cannabis or locally made Kanyanga  beverage.

According to the Rwanda National Police, local leaders involving in the smuggling of these stuffs make the fight against the use of these drugs very complicated and RNP warns these entities to stop it and increase efforts to track down the users of the beverages.

In the past meeting ,02,August,2013 that took place in the district, measures were taken to hinder the use of these vicious drugs and to punish every person involved into the use of them. However the use of these drugs is still observable hence more efforts to eradicate them once for all.
