Ugandan Police Inspector General Gen Kale Kayihura thanked his counterpart RNP Inspector General Emmanuel Gasana for the job well done during his exercise.

He said that IGP Gasana increased the partnership among all national polices being part of the region.

The meeting gathered one day before an Interpol conference scheduled to take place this Monday in Kigali.

In yesterday’s meeting, The Rwanda National Police reminded other police agencies that it is of urgent to closely cooperate and arrest 410 individuals suspected of having committed formally or informally the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

It( Rwandan Police) says that those people are still hiding in different African nations.

Justice Minister Johnston Busingye told the gathering that Rwanda still wants further collaboration of all concerned entities to arrest all Genocide suspects and try them.

He recognized that it needs more efforts to arrest them.

Despite that, it is possible to arrest them through close partnership, Busingye underlined.
