Kirehe – A 42 years old medical auxiliary named Etienne Mporebuke from the Kirehe Hospital has been arrested by the Police for his alleged sexual violence against one of the patients he was taking care of. He is currently detained at the Kirehe Police station.
The Police chief in the sector has confirmed to the UM– USEKE reporter that the medical agent is arrested as the investigation continues.
Three witnesses including two workers in the health center told UM– USEKE that the victim was a woman transferred to the hospital.
The woman was crying as she left the consultation room and told others that she was sexually attacked by the medical agent.
The authorities called upon the Police and the agent was arrested, accordingly.
The co-workers with Etienne affirm that this is not the first time he is arrested for the same crime, as he has been jailed when he sexually attacked a 16 years young girl but released later on.
Dr Uwiringiyemungu Jean Nepo , the Head of the Hospital has warned the whole staff members against such crimes that diminishes the credibility of the center.
