Harebamungu told KFM Radio station that Ubudehe validations were underwent different procedures among local population aiming at bring them to fairness.

He said that the grassroots meeting of the cell inhabitants selected children to be part of a given category relating to his socio-economic status.

According to Dr Mathias, both the MINALOC and Ubudehe there is no big difference between them. The only difference is about 0.8%.Mathias Harebamungu finds this is not something big that can bring to significant adjustments.

As Dr Mathias underlines no need for change and adjustments, the remaining question is to know whether the Minister’s views will prevail over the claims of the population that is suffering.

Ubudehe has been initiated in the aim at reducing the huge budget the government allocated to education at large. It came in as one of home grown solutions that Rwandans set in order to deal with their own problems.

Recently President Pul Kagame said that Ubudehe needs to be studied in deep so to find out whether there were some mistakes that need to be adjusted in fair way.

These changes in Rwandan education system rise as University of Rwanda is very soon to be launchedEven if there no clear and precise number of students to drop out the higher education system, one of local administration leaders told Umuseke that 70% of students are likely to leave their studies.
