The Executive Secretary in the Ministry of health, Dr Anita Assiimwe expressed her discontentment about the bad hygienic conditions she found in the Kabgayi hospital during her official visit.
She has been shown different chambers of the Hospital, including the maternity and intensive care rooms where she found critical hygienic conditions.
Dr Anita has been discomforted about the bad smell prevailing in the rooms of patients.
The Director of the Hospital Dr Ndahayo Cassien presented the excuses and promised to handle the situation as soon and as quick as possible.
He said that the situation will be resettled within two weeks ahead.
Dr Asiimwe said that the Hospital received a big budget to invest in important areas of its activities and one of the most important ones is hygienic condition of both medical tools and facilities
