As Rwanda gets ready to host the CHAN, Uganda and 13 other national teams qualified to participate into this championship. The championship will start on January, 16, 2016 and end on February, 07, 2016.
These teams include Zambia, Angola, Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria, Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Zimbabwe, DR Congo, Lesotho, Uganda and Mali.

Northern Zone is represented by Morocco and Tunisia.

Western Zone A will be represented by Mali that qualified after winning over Mauritania with three scores out of two. Senegal and Guinea are also part of the countries that will represent this zone.

Western Zone B: Nigeria has disqualified Burkina Faso with two out of zero.

Other teams that will be part of the zone will be known after the match between Ivory Coast and Ghana scheduled to take place on 30th this month in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

African Central Zone will be represented by Gabon that qualified after winning over Chad with three goals out of zero. The zone will also be represented by DRC.

There is a match between Cameroon and Congo after which the winning nation will be qualified as part of the representatives of the Zone. This match will take place on 31, this month.

Uganda and Ethiopia will represent the East Zone as they qualified early comparatively to the rest of the Zone teams.

Ethiopia has beaten Burundi with three out of two scores in a match that took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The Ugandan team, at its side, disqualified Sudanese team with four out of zero.
South Zone: Zimbabwe won over Lesotho with four goals out of two.

South Africa was disqualified by Angola with three goals out of two. Zambia will also be in Rwanda for the championship after beating Mozambique with four out of one.
