The provisional results about the winner of the presidential elections in Tanzania are expected to be revealed today.
However, most of Tanzanians are curious to find out who will be elected between John Pombe Magufuli from the ruling party Chama Cha Mapenduzi( CCM) and Edward Lowasa from opposition party, CHADEMA .
The curiosity goes beyond the boundaries of Tanzania as the East African Community citizens considerably wait for the publication of results and know who replaces Jakaya Kikwete.
Lowasa warned that he and the party will decry the results if they will be found unfair.
He has been the Prime Minister and one of the prominent members of ruling CCM before living it and join the opposition.
The aim was to challenge CCM and thereafter transform the system into a new political machine once he wins the elections.
At his side, Dr Pombe Magufuli believes in the fact that he will be winning the elections and therefore, his party will keep accelerating its efforts in developing Tanzania.
As both sides wait and watch, the vote counting process goes on and people and the final results will be made public by the Election Commission.
