The Ministry of Commence through a press release suspended the services provided by the TelexFree Company after discovering the negative impacts of its services over Rwandan currency.
The press release says that since 14, March, 2014, all the activities of TelexFree are banned in Rwanda.
The activities of the TelexFree focused on advertising goods on the Internet. It spread from Brazil to the rest of the world.
The adherents to this online business had to daily post a link to the internet to advertise specific goods on internet.
In Rwanda, there were a relatively small number of people involved into this business but which kept increasing until now.
Benefits entered according to the number of links you posted for the company someone works for.
People involved into the business were required to bring more other people and gain more money.
It is a pyramidal style of business where the recruiters received more money according to the number of recruited who paid a given amount of money to enter the business.
For the Ministry of commerce, this kind business destabilizes the currency stability, thus its ban.
