Yesterday the Rwanda Senate has received S.Korean MPs who visit Rwanda to discuss on different issues relating to development partnership between both nations.

Dr Jean Damascène Ntawukuriryayo lauded the quality of bilateral relations especially in economic area.

Both nation are committed to increase and improve partnership especially in matters of agriculture, technology, rural development, as to ensure a sustainable development in Rwanda, said Dr Jean Damascène Ntawukuriryayo.

Hon Dr Ntawukuriryayo urged the delegation members to keep investing in Rwanda, ensuring to them that Rwanda is a nation full of peace and business opportunities.

Park Byeong , who heads the delegation, underlined his conviction that Rwanda will achieve its 2020 vision. He expressed his country’s willingness to back Rwanda in its journey towards sustainable economic development.

I am convinced that our nations are committed to the durability of bilateral cooperation. S.Korea will keep providing its support in matters relating to agriculture, technology, and intellectual partnership, Mr Byeong said.

During its journey, The S.Korean delegation will visit different places including the Kigali Memorial Center at Gisozi. The delegation will also visit the IPRC technical school that is technically supported by  South Korea.

Rwanda and S.Korea have similar economic and historical similarities and this is an added value that can enhance the quality of the partnership between both states.

Rwanda has economically recovered after a period of war as well as the South Korean Republic did.
