In Rusororo Sector ,Gasabo District ,Police has thrown away 82 liters of Kanyanga with a liquid substance used in the fabrication of these beverages .The Police says these liquids cause people to embrace violence.
The RNP Spokesperson, SSP Urbain Mwiseneza alongside the Vice Mayor in Gasabo District in charge of finance reminded the youth that the fabrication of such beverages and their consumption are illegal and can spoil people’s health.
SSP Mwiseneza said that the use of such substances brings youth to easily get into violence thus warned them that everyone who either fabricates or consumes them is to be tried by the justice.
Both SSP Mwiseneza and Munana advised the population around to report to the Police whoever is they suspect to fabricate,sell or consume these substances as to eradicate ,reminding them that if they do not report it they are the first ones to face the consequences.
Many traditioal weapons such as machettes ,spears among others were shown to the population in order to show to them them that these tools were used by robbers.
The authorities warned the population to keep being vigilant in order to hinder thesefrom harming the local population .
