The National Police has arrested Sylvere Mpore suspected of having killed 11 years girl Uwase Bella Shalom four day ago.
Rwanda National Police and the general public combined efforts to arrest him. Sylvere was arrested in Kabarore Sector in Gatsibo District. A local dweller saw him and communicated it to the nearby Police station.
The RNP Spokesperson, ACP Damas Gatare confirmed to UM– USEKE that the suspect has been arrested, adding that more details will be provided later.
Sylvere Mpore locally known as Hagumamahoro, is accused to have killed the 11 years old girl in Nyamiramb where he was working as a house hold servant and fled away. He was hiding for four days. The body of Bella Uwase was buried Saturday last week.
Mpore was a household servant in Nyamirambo where he served for 14 years. He originates from the District of Gisagara, Sector of Gikonko in the Southern Province.
The RNP arrested the suspect in Gatsibo District, Eastern Province.
