In the current modern world, technology is a key tool to reach  desired economic goals and  that is the reason why the RDB invests more in IT development.

The technology being one of the most effective tools to boost economy, RDB  started to help local people learn about its use. This computer training will help Gitwe inhabitants to avoid old beliefs that computer is a harmful tool which  that is exclusively reserved for highly educated people.

The RDB mobile computer training staff is currently living at Bweramana  center to teach local dwellers basic computer skills.

Gitwe dealers expressed their appreciation to these initiatives even if they recognized their hesitation to attend these training at the beginning.

Most of  the learners are embodied into different cooperatives, others are from administration bodies, all of them being trained on the use of computer to  effectively conduct their daily activities.

Trained people appreciated these initiatives, qualifying them as helpful in reaching the level of development they desired. For them, acquiring computer based  knowledge will increase as they will be able to buy their own laptops.

This program  launched by RDB will be dispatched in  all provinces of Rwanda, Kigali city excluded because of its IT advancement  compared to the rest of the provinces.
