During a worship gathering that brought together the members of the AEE , the leader of the umbrella of  all Christian churches in Muhanga district, Pastor Pontien Bizumuremyi highlighted the importance of linking preaching and actions of mercy.

The 7 days’ long worship gathering that is taking place in Muhanga district aims at reminding people the importance of returning to the God’s love and leave their deeds that hurt God and thus become the real Christians.

For the Pastor Bizumuremyi Pontien the assembly will also provide the needy with material and spiritual supports as to help them live comfortably.

The most concerned beneficiaries will be the ones who lost their properties during the recently happened natural disasters in the area.

Few days after the start of the Christian assembly, more than 1000 have confessed for their sins and returned to the Merciful God.

For the pastor this has provided them with more increased strength to forward their efforts as to convert more people to become the Disciples of Christ.

One of the newly converted Christians, Habimana Cyriaque living in Nyamabuye sector said that for him, the Pentecotists were uneducated people who behaved unwisely.

He afterwards has changed his views as he currently attending Christian’s meetings in the nearest church.

According to the timetable different South Province authorities will are to attend the assembly today in Muhanga.

The Christians who attend the assembly have amassed over 2 million Rwandan francs for the Muhanga District for its rehabilitation after the firebreak that spoiled it recently.
