Rwanda national police has arrested a girl who has thrown her newborn in a dust bin. She is a level one student who after throwing her baby has tried to flee and was arrested at Nyabugogo tax park.
One of the students told UM– USEKE that the student gave birth to the baby in Sunday evening and currently none knows in which place she gave birth.
The corpse of the died baby was found in a dust bin by a cleaner who alarmed authorities.
Police and medical care providers came to investigate in the situation. The student was brought to the Kibagabaga Hospital with the body of the died baby.
Such inhumane activities are legally prohibited and perpetrators face juridical charges.
