Formerly, more of women were relatively excluded from participating into major socio-economic activities for Rwanda’s development. However, serious researches shown that they are as able as their husbands in accomplishing vital activities.

Historically Rwandan women seen as weak to be fully involved into activities for the transformation of their households.

Currently the situation is reversed as more women attend schools, obtain high degrees in education, manage big banks, became military high ranking officers, among other activities that were formerly and exclusively reserved for men.

Umuseke’ photographers gathered revealing photos to highlight the contribution of Rwandan women in socio-economic life that Rwanda keeps enjoying and is proud of.
