The Mayor of Kigali city Fidele Ndayisaba said that Rwanda eagerly needs a youth that thinks and works quickly for its own development. This is the philosophy that Rwandan youth should nurture, he said.

Fidele Ndayisaba urged the youth representatives that young people are the ones to choose the pathway to walk in towards self-making and progress. For him, some of Rwandan young people are hesitant about choosing a living style that is promising to them.

The Minister of Youth and ICT promotion, Jean Philbert Nsengimana blamed some of the youth representatives that claim that they lack business start up assets. He encouraged them to be risk taking and ready for making positive changes that are beneficial to the wider youth population.

Minister Nsengimana urged the youth representatives to never minimize the interests of the young people they represent on behalf of their (youth representatives) own interests.

This general assembly of youth representatives aimed at assessing the recent achievements and the challenges as to set up new strategies that will enable the youth committees to improve and perform better in the coming future.
