A child told neighbors in the Nyagatare district, Mukama sector that her mother killed father using a hoe.
After killing her husband, she ran away.
James Gakuru who Is the executive secretary of the sector told Umuseke that he deadly act was committed, adding that the family was divorced.
He added that the woman told her husband that she will come to visit him and children.
Arrived the, they quarreled and the woman took a hoe and used it to kill the husband through beating it to his head, he narrated.
According to Gakuru, the incident happened yesterday and the child who saw the act informed the neighbors.
The woman is called Mukamuhizi Frida , 43 years old, is the one who killed her husband named Aloys Zirimabagabo .
The authorities say that the spouses were living a unlawful marriage and have divorced for past eight months.
The executive secretary of Mukama sector advises families to be careful and avoid any situations that can lead to death or other dangerous situations
