Young people from the Ntarama thanked the Government for having given them a swamp to cultivate. Those young people who survived the genocide against the Tutsi lauded the financial package provided by the Comfort My People Ministries organization of ten million Rwandan francs to invest in the agricultural activities in the swamp.

The Head of the Comfort my People Ministries, in Rwanda, Pastor Willy RUMENERA told  Umuseke that one of its  objectives is to enable needy families to be self reliant and to work closely with official entities to faight against drug abuse among the youth.

He said that the current mission is the help the genocide survivors especially the youth to overcome economic challenges.

One of the young people being part of the Ingenzi family called Rusanganwa Justin living in utuye mu Ntarama Sector,  Bugesera Distrct, told UM– USEKE that him and his collegues chose to be part of the Ingenzi family in order to be more productive and innovative.

He finds that the group is lucky enough to have been given a swamp in the Ntarama to cultivate and produce more.

He hopes that after producing, he intends to continue his studies that he suspended after the Genocide as to back his step brother who is currently studies at University.

Comfort My People Ministries started working in Rwanda since 2008. It plans to help over 32 young people who became orphans due to the 1994 genocide againt the Tutsi who are living in Ntarama.
