Governor of the Southern Province, Munyantwali Alphonse urged investors and Muhanga district residents who are building new houses to respect the urbanization policy and code. Gov Munyantwali said that during an inauguration of new commercial buildings set up by Muhanga residents.
He lauded the efforts of those businessmen who have set up such infrastructures to help local people receive needed services and goods.
He urged those entrepreneurs to build these houses according to the national urbanization policy so to prevent these houses from collapsing and damage people’s lives and properties.
For him, buildings should be positioned at a distance that is safer as to facilitate the circulation of people and goods.
Uhagaze Francois The vice mayor in charge of economic plan in Muhanga advised all businessmen to gather into cooperatives so to be more effective and productive.
For him, these cooperatives will equip them with increased experience and chances to get loan from the Bank.
Some of the challenges facing the Muhanga businessmen include the hindrances related to acquiring loans from the Banks. Another significant challenge facing them include relatively poor financial management skills that sometimes leads to the financial loss.
The infrastructures launched yesterday were 3,5 million Rwandan franc worthy.They include commercial buildings, among others.
