The General assembly of shareholders in the BRD has replaced Ndungu Bernard (who is currently serving in Kenya) by Francis Mugisha to be the Head of the Body of Directors.
Mugisha is a professional accountant who was among the members of the body of directors in the BRD.
He has been recently working as the Director of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR).
He worked in different big financial companies, including the BRD where he worked as Operations manager in the bank.
The CEO of the BRD, Alex Kanyankole welcomed Mugisha and wished him to be successful in the fulfillment of his new duties.
Kanyankore expressed his hope about his further achievements in the progress of the bank.
Ndungu who started managing the bank in 2013 is now accreditated in Kenya for new duties.
The Body of Directors in BRD also welcomed Dr. Daniel UFITIKIREZI to be part of the Bank management committee, representing the Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) which is a shareholder in the bank.
The BRD’ Body of directors include Dr. Ufitikirezi, Rutabingwa Athanase, Kanyangeyo Agnes, Rwigamba Eric, Kagabo Vianney, Kayitesi Antonina Rutembesa, De Wandel Erwin and Hategekimana Cyrille, all eager to develop the BRD, cooperatively.
The general assembly approved the 2013 financial assessment report which shows that the bank gained 4 billion Rwandan Francs last year, after the annual investment of 64 Billion Rwf.
