“I’m pleased to see the Muslims and Christians working together and this should continue in the globalized world,” he said.

Abukatif who was presiding over the award certificate ceremony for over 170 Muslims who completed a four months course in Arabic Language and Koran reciting encouraged the students of Arabic Language to put in practice what they had learnt.

The training was conducted by World Islamic Call Society.

The country director of World Islamic Call Society, Sheik Mohamed Khalifa, commended the Government for allowing his organization to spread Islam and establishing centres in the country.

“Government has given us a conducive environment to operate freely without any hindrance,” Khalifa said.

He warned the Islamic youth against involving themselves in bad habits such drug abuse.

The acting deputy Mufti of Uganda, Sheik Atwibu Mukuluwakika thanked World Islamic Call Society for training the youthful Muslims in Arabic Language and reciting a Koran.
