The Spokesperson of the Rwanda National Police SP JMV Ndushabandi informs that the lorry that made an accident has killed seven people, and spoiled 12 vehicles. The lorry was packed with packs an lost its side, entering the side where passengers were standing.
Apparently the lorry killed numerous people including moto bikers who parked besides the road, and the pedestrians around.
The Police and National Red Cross intervened to rescue the injured and remove the dead ones from the roads.
Injured ones are brought to hospitals for medical care.
