Ruburika Antoine , an envoy from RGB, underlined the importance of setting such forum by bring together female university students so to strengthening  effective leadership skills  into them.

Rwandan History shows that girls and women were discriminated  in different levels of national life but  the current government strives to give  them full opportunity as to let them exercise their capabilities in leadership.

In his advises, Mr Ruburika said:” Before you lead others, you first have to lead yourself and cultivate cultural values within your hearts. If you acquire these values, you will be well equipped to lead others with full confidence and wisdom”.

The newly elected leader of the forum, Ms Uwase Emmerance, a science student, urged her peers to be very cautious on preventing themselves from getting involved in premature and illegal sexual intercourse susceptible to harm their future lives.

She said: “This forum is meant to be  a good channel through which girls will spread their creative  ideas”.

She expressed her appreciation about the support provided by the government as to help girls leaders to develop  both politically and economically. She finds this very encouraging and inspiring.

This Forum  has two separate bodies, one in charge of administration affairs and another  in charge of advocacy and conflict resolution.
