On Tuesday morning,The High Court located at Kimihurara, Kigali has adjourned Diane Rwigara court hearing. It based its decisions to the fact that she did not have enough time to consult her lawyer. Formerly, the Nyarugenge court has sentenced her to a provisional imprisonment of 30 days, arguing that she is likely to escape justice.

Her co-accused mother did not appear in the court. The Nyarugenge court has sentenced them for a 30 days imprisonment before full court hearings start. The court said that this provisional imprisonment will not allow them to escape justice.

Not more than 28 people attended the today’s court hearing.

Diane’s Mother Adeline Rwigara did not appear into the court due to her illiness as stated by her lawyer Gatera Gashabana .

The most remarkable attendants of the today’s court hearing included Anne Rwigara Uwamahoro and her two brothers.

Defending her today’s request for adjournment, Diane Rwagara said that she was given the assignment to appear into the court today, meaning she did not have enough time to consult her lawyer.

She revealed that her lawyer had other cases to defend today.

The court decided to adjourn  the court hearing as to provide justice to Diane who presented tangible reasons for the adjourning
