The Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has who is in Rwanda for two forthcoming concerts, visited the Kigali Genocide Memorail centre to have a glimpse of what happened in  1994 when the genocide against the Tutsi was committed.

He visited different rooms where historical archives are displayed for visitors and he deposed flowers to the tombs where thousands bodies of innocent Tutsis are resting in peace.

The singer  Diamond has expressed his swallow feelings about what he saw and his lover Zari Hassan has cried so much due to what she saw at the Kigali Genocide Memorial centre.

During a press conference that took place after the visit, Diamond urged Rwandan artists to work hard and reach beyond Rwandan borders as to become more popular and earn more money.
