The statement on the extraordinary cabinet meeting held yesterday informs that the referendum to state whether Rwandans want the Constitution to be amended will be held on 17 and 18 , December, respectively.
Rwandans living in Rwanda will vote on 17 December while the ones living abroad will vote on 18, December 2015.
This cabinet statement comes in as many Rwandans were eager to learn on the date chosen by the Cabinet for the referendum to be held.
Recently the Head of State Paul Kagame revealed that the outcomes from the referendum will allow him to pronounce his decision on whether he is willing to run for another term or not.
