The partnership stipulated that the former RTUC was to teach students from Mount Kenya University were not yet legally recognized to be officially operational in Rwanda.

The students attended the RTUC main campus located at Kicukiro and in Rubavu in the Weastern Province.

The main challenge for the students is that they were not handled whit their degrees until even though they graduated.

They brought the claims to the RTUC that taught them and to which they paid the fees to attend lectures.

Due to this challenge, students cannot be upgraded in their job positions because of the lack of the papers.

One of the students said that the RTUC keeps telling them to come in the coming week that the issue will be resolved.

Asked whether the RTUC does not have a heavy loan towards Mount Kenya University, the Rector of the University, Callixte Kabera denied that allegations,  qualifiying them as baseless utterances.

We give explanations to each student who wonders about the delay of the diplomas. Umuseke  asked to the Mount Kenya about what is being done to resolve the situation.

The official in charge is not in Rwanda, Mount Kenya University informed UM– USEKE. The students have been waiting for the diplomas for two moths ago
