He said that during an opening ceremony of a training session for girls from higher education  institutions embodied into Girls Leaders Forum(GLF) .The meeting took place at Nobleza Hotel Kicukiro District Yesterday.

The Forum was launched in 2012 by girls leaders aiming at steering in them leadership spirit and skills.

These young leaders strive to learn more about concerns  and challenges Rwandans in general and girls particular undergo so to find lasting solutions to it.

The President of  GLF Rosette Nkundimfura said that the Forum started its operations at the National University of Rwanda but spread as it achieved better.

The Forum is made by 32 universities across Rwanda.

“We strive at solving serious challenges girls face. What we at is the betterment of Rwandan wide population of girls” said the young leader Rosette Nkundimfura.

For her, lack of adequate education, premature pregnancy and a fear of getting involved into leadership positions are the most common and serious concerns Rwandan girls.

One of the girls that attend the training Murebwayire Assumpta hopes that this training will bear positive fruits for her as she will learn more about transformational leadership our nation aims at fully achieving.

For Cheick Salim Harerimana,in charge of religious and NGO organizations in RGB underlined the  usefulness of this Forum as it is an creative  idea  from University female students.

“Good initiatives as these are to be upheld and encouraged because there is no good leadership without effective ,creative and innovative leaders” stated Cheick Saleh Habimana.

Prof Shyaka Anastase ,the Manager of RGB urged Girls Leaders Forum members to increase their knowledge on leadership and to uphold Rwandan cultural values that characterize effective leaders ,especially girls leaders for future generations.

The Forum aims at stretching its activities at the secondary school levels to be more sustainable.
