Yesterday,Kigali City and RURA(Rwanda Utility Regulatory Authority)signed agreement about measures to take in order to ensure safe and quick transport of people and goods in Kigali City.
Fidel Ndayisaba, Mayor of Kigali City, said that transport is to be carried out by well equipped companies so to deliver satisfying services to passengers,adding that these ones that can afford these new measures will be operating in the countryside towns.
RTFC Manager Col Twahirwa Dodo told Umuseke that his company is ready as to fulfill its transport mission in the two zones it is entrusted to serve.
“Our cars will be passing to car parks to take passengers every five minutes.This will be done very systematically and smartly” assures Col Twahirwa.
The KBS manager Mr Charles Ngarambe thanked the Government to have set clear transport guidelines to make it more transparent and structured.
“KBS is ready to provide effective services to its clients and if something goes wrong, we urge them to call upon the KBS agents in the nearby areas to remediate to the problem” Charles Ngarambe promised all clients.
Ngarambe revealed that reservation card for future travels is soon to be issued for people to travel freely and at anytime without wasting time and money.
He told the gathering that his company is willing to collaborate with other transport companies to easy transport to passengers willing to travel in areas KBS does not serve, all of this for the interest of passengers.
