This charity activity took place at the Eastern Province, Ngoma district, Rukumbere sector. Workers of the Rwanda Standards Board are the ones who collected six million Rwandan Francs and used this package to rehabilitate the houses of widows from Rukumberei Sector
One of the beneficiaries called Cecile Kangabe expressed her appreciation towards that charity activity that resulted, she said, from inner wholeheartedness.
The IBUKA( a genocide survivors’ advocacy umbrella) representative in Rukumberi sector thanked the RSB workers for their contribution but called for further and complete innovation of the widows’ houses as to let everyone live in decent house.
He said that more than 110 houses deserve complete rehabilitation.
The CEO of the Rwanda Standards Board Dr Mark Bagabe Cyubahiro said that these activities are part of their yearly charity program.
He thereafter called the rest of Rwandans to be well motivated and help needy people with acts of kindness.
