Today the in Nduba Sector, Gasabo District, Rwanda national police has thrown and burnt different kinds of deadly and fake products including drinks and weeds, among others.
The Police has invited different media houses so that the general public might be alerted about the hurtful consequences these products have to citizens.
Among the illicit drinks are the super gins, chiefs, etc. All of the items that were thrown are worthy 19 million Rwf. Recently the Police has arrested many people with different packs of illicit drugs that they brought from neighboring countries including Uganda and Tanzania.
Others are locally made but most were brought by traders coming from the EAC, especially Tanzania and Uganda.
Police has been warning Rwandans about both the use and the consumption of these products. Spt Mbabazi Modeste said that all the persons who will be found guilty for having been involved into these issues will punished by the Law.
He called upon the citizens to keep informing RNP about those people who sell, buy and distribute these harmful products
