As Rwanda hosts one of the internationally recognized cycling tours, there are specific tips that one should bear in mind as the tour goes on.

1. There are three riders from three countries that participate in the tour for the first time: Those are: Saidov Ulugbek from Uzbekistan, Mini Emanuel from Argentina and Jelinic Zvonimir from Croatia.

2. The longest stage is the sixth and includes Rubavu-Kigali. The distance length is 165 kilometers. It will take place on November, 21, 2015. The shortest stage is the one covering Kigali- Musanze. Its distance length is 95 kilometers.

3. The contesters are not only motivated by winning it with medals and cups. There are others willing to gain marks to enable them qualify for the forthcoming Olympic games scheduled to take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
During that Olympic Games, Africa will be represented by ten best players selected in their respective countries. Rwandan Hadi Janvier strives to be among them.

4. The youngest rider is Rwandan Valens Ndayisenga who is 21 years old.

5. The oldest one is Netherland native, Woestenberg Peter who is 41 years old and plays in the Global Team cycling. Rwandan Abraham Ruhumuriza is 36 years.

6. As the race started yesterday racing the Prologue phase, among the 69 riders, Valens Ndayisenga wore number one while Jean Bosco Nsengimana wore number two. The later one won the phase.

7. Among the players that are likely to perform better, include Jean Bosco Nsengimana, Joseph Biziyaremye, Eyob Metkel, Gebreigzabhier Amanuel, Saber Lahcen, Debesay Mekseb and Valens Ndayisenga. It will be surprising to see someone else perform better than them.

8. In its history, Rwamagana is the ending point of the phase that joins Nyagatare to Rwamagana.

9. During this Tour du Rwanda, the riders will be hosted in three different towns out of Kigali. These are Musanze, Muhanga and Rubavu.

10. Tour du Rwanda is the lastly classified tour in the International cycling federation. This motivates many riders from all over the world to attend this rally to qualify for the Olympic Games.

11. This ongoing rally is attended by twins from Rwanda: Those are: Jeremie Karegeya and Nathan Byukusenge. The first one being part of Akagera Team while the other is from Muhabura Team.
