The Chairperson of the African Union Nkhosazana Dramini Zuma who made an cvisit to Rwanda today and hosted by President Kagame lauded the efforts that the Rwanda has provided in setting and innovating new infrastructures meant to help in hosting the upcoming 27th African Union Summit to take place in Kigali in the coming July.

The Summit will be attended by various high profile dignitaries including Heads of States, Prime Ministers and other officials operating in different national and international bodies.

Dr Dramini Zuma is in Rwanda to have a look about how for the preparations are getting ready and she appreciated the pace at which these activities are being made.

During brief interview, she had with reporters, Dr Zuma said that she hopes Rwanda will be ready for the African Summit as innovation activities are getting ready too.

These infrastructures include hotels, conference rooms, among others.

She revealed that at the end of this month, a specialized team from the African Union will be in Rwanda to have a look on the finalization of touches upon these infrastructures.

Her visit in Rwanda will end this Thusday evening hours and will fly to Ethiopia, Addis Ababa where the Headquarters of African Union is located.

According to the agenda, the AU Summit to take place in Rwanda will inaugurate the use of an African Passport that will, at the first instance, be used by all Heads of States whose nations adhered to AU Body.
