After equalizing with Kiyovu in a match that took place last Sunday, AS Kigali overtook other teams and occupied the first place in the list. The match took place at Mumena Stadium located in Nyamirambo.

Despite the fact that the match was good to watch, both teams did not manage to score and the fans went back home unhappy.

The chief coach of Kiyovu Seninga Innocent was not present at the occasion as he is undergoing coaching training in Europe. At his side, The deputy coach Kanamugire Aloys is severely ill.

The players were trained by the third coach Hamis Bagumaho who formerly performed as a goalkeeper.
Strikers and middle fielders from both sides tried their best to score but in vain.

Lomami Andrew and Muhindo Jean Pierre from Kiyovu did their best to score against AS Kigali but there were no occasion for them to mark the goal.

This happened also to AS Kigali whereby its strikers such as Sugira Ernest invested energy to score but in vain.

Eric Nshimiyimana who coaches AS Kigali did not appreciate the way his players performed, saying that he will be preparing the players for the next upcoming matches.
Other matches that took place throughout the week end included Gicumbi FC that equalized with Mukura VS by one out one.

Gicumbi FC goal was scored by Rucogoza Aimable while the Mukura’s was scored by Amani Mugisha Mukeshe.

According to the current categorization, AS Kigali leads the list with 12 points as well as Police but it overcomes it through the number of goals already reserved.

APR FC comes third at the list.
