Two bodyguards of Justin Bieber are under trial
Let’s hope for his sake 2014 is a better year. On Monday TMZ reported two of Justin Bieber’s bodyguards were arrested on Saturday for ‘attacking’ a police officer in Florida.
This comes after a wave of bad press in 2013 for the Believe star that included being photographed by a paramour while in bed and illegally spray painting a wall with graffiti.
The two guards, Hugo Hesney and Michael Arana, were photographed by TMZ on Sunday leaving the Florida jail where they had been booked.
‘Police confirmed the two were arrested Saturday night after a Miami Meet Up for Justin’s new movie in Aventura, Florida,’ the site reported.
It was not made clear what a ‘meet up’ means.
The former YouTube sensation was not anywhere near the guards over the weekend. Instead, he was snow mobiling in Canada, even sharing photos of his vacation on Instagram.
The site added, ‘Details of the incident are sketchy, but we know Hesny was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer and his bail was set at $10.5K. Arana was popped for disorderly conduct and bail was set at $1,500.’
Meanwhile TMZ also reported another member of his team is being criminally investigated for roughing up a driver.
Police in Toronto said the limousine chauffeur was hired to drive the star around town, and that they are investigating his claims of being attacked while the Baby star was in the vehicle.
The performer’s hired help seems to be finding themselves in hot water quite often these days.
On December 19 one of the Baby singer’s bodyguards allegedly roughed up a photographer at an iHop restaurant in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Encino.
A battery report was filed by the police and the shutterbug claimed to be injured.
The site also noted the teen star’s help has been getting ‘increasingly physical’ as his bodyguards have also been accused of ‘roughing up’ a photog who snapped Bieber surfing in Australia last month.
And then there was an incident when the hit maker was cliff diving in Hawaii.
Justin was doing much better back in the days when he was dating Wizards Of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez.
