The USA based singer Akon arrived in Kigali, this morning 19 September before he flies to DRC, Goma for a concert scheduled to take place in the coming week-end.

The R&B singer Akon arrived in Kigali being escorted by four big cars and was led to the Hotel des Milles Collines for a short rest before he flies to Rubavu and DRC afterwards.

Some of his closest followers told UM– USEKE that the singer is eager to learn all about Rwanda and how it came up from the ashes of its sad past.

His concert will be taking place in for the celebration of the International Peace Day to take place on 21st, September in Goma. East DRC.

Not less than 50 fans are will attend the concert according to our informants.

The singer normally called Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Bongo Puru Nacka Badara Thiam a.k.a Akon will pass his night in one of Kigali hotels but no detailed information are yet provided.

The “Smack that” and “Beautiful”singer Akon is a 41 married man with six children . Forbes Magazine has listed him as the fifth most loved singer in Africa.
