Rwanda National Cricket Team starts preparations

Rwanda cricket association has summoned players to beef up preparations as they prepare to compete in the ICC Africa World Cricket League Division 3 T20 to be held in South Africa in March 2014.

The team is currently undergoing training with coaches Joshua Mwanja and Ed Pearson.

In 2012 the Rwandan team came 3^rd out of 6 countries in the same tournament.

This year’s tournament will see Rwanda compete against Morocco, Swaziland, Sierraleone and Gambia.

Looking at the opposing teams, Rwanda has a better side and can win the tournament say Srinath Vardhineni the team manager.

Winning this tournament will improve the ranking of Rwanda who are currently ranked 3^rd in international cricket council Africa rankings.
