Remera: A man is said to have killed his wife, buried her in the courtyard

Early this morning people living in Remera sector, Nyabisindu cell in Gasabo district have unearthed remains of a woman killed by his husband and buried in a garden where the alleged husband killer has put.

The step sister of the deceased woman has told Umuseke that her sister was 39 year. She said that the husband of her grand sister killed her on Friday late hours in night.

Information delivered by the little sister of the deceased woman had a short time job in the National Land Center before being killed by her husband.

One of the neighbors told Umuseke said that he was the man digging a pit one and planting greens following day.

He stated guessing that the something wrong was going on.

As neighbors knew that his family was frequently conflicting, they started guessing that the woman was likely killed and buried in the pit that the man was digging one day before.

Neighbors asked Karegeya where his woman was and he provided opposing responses.

This made neighbors becoming suspicious about the circumstances surrounding her missing.

They reported the issue to the police and the suspect Alfred Karegeya was arrested.

Today many people including Karegeya unearthed the naked corpse of the killed Marie Rose

The couple had two children among whom one studies in secondary school.

Rwanda National Police calls upon the general public to increase the community policing and report on a suspicious activities or oral conflicts among spouses that are likely to cause deadly consequences.
