Nyaruguru- Locals contributed a lot to our develoment-Habitegeko

The Mayor of the Nyaruguru district Habitegeko Francois told media that the current social and economic advancement that the District enjoys, is a result of close partnership between locals  and officials in the District.

He said that during a press conference that took place at the head office of the Nyaruguru district  yesterday.

For the Mayor, the current Nyaruguru is far different from the former Gikongoro that endured the poverty related hardships, The current Nyaruguru can be likened to a heaven where peace and prosperity are prevailing he said.

Mayor Habitegeko lauded the efforts provided by the education actors who helped in increasing  an inclusive school attendance.

This inclusive  education has helped students from the marginalized  backgrounds to receive education, something that did not happen in the previous education systems.

The Nyaruguru district is currently equipped with social and economic infrastructures such as 16 health centers even if it still endures a significant lack of  easy and available street transportation facilities such as enough buses for travelers.

The Nyaruguru officials have  revealed to the media that the district officials have planned to launch a wide range program of setting up the infrastructures building activities, including the construction of  bus park and commercial buildings.

According to  Mayor Habitegeko, the district will install  water channels to feed locals with clean  and available water as to reduce the number of the unclean water -related diseases  that endangers the locals, especially young children.
