The dead ones were herding cows
News from Nyamirama cell, Karangazi Sector, Nyagatare district claim that early this morning a mine has blasted, killing five young boys. The dead people were cows herders who walked nearby a local military base at Gabiro.
Boys whose the mine has killed were manipulating it as to find out who it is.
The dead include Manase Turatsinze, Rurangwa, Kamwine, Mujuni and Rwanyange and Rurangwa.
Mayor of Nyagatare district George Mupenzi told Umuseke that that this is an incident is undergoing further investigations.
Mupenzi reveals that the dead are from different families and their bodies are taken to hospital.
