Man kills wife, three children before setting house ablaze in Juja

A man killed his wife and three children before committing suicide by setting their house ablaze in Waithithe, Kiambu county.

Neighbours told police they heard screams from the house before they saw smoke billowing. On checking, they found the house locked and no more sounds were heard.

“We were forced to break in after we put off the fire. We were shocked to found the couple and their three children dead,” a neighbour said.

The bodies of the victims were taken to the mortuary as investigations into what caused the quarrel continue.
