KIGALI CAR FREE DAY second edition to take place on Sunday

Kigali City Authority  announces that the Kigali Car Free Day second edition will take place on 3th, July, 2016 and interested people will use the road that starts from down town towards Amahoro National Stadium to enjoy spacious road, car free and reviving atmosphere for their health.

The program is scheduled to start from 7h00 to noon. Th aim of this initiative is to nurture people’s willingness to practice sports as to increase their physical fitness.

Its first time was on May, 29, 2016 where many people who participated enjoyed it.

Some used cyclists while others walked on foot, the aim being the one of making their lives better through practicing sports.

Recent research has shown that many Rwandans enduring non communicable diseases resulting from the vegetative kind of life they enjoy.

Such diseases include cardio-vascular ones, and other complications that attack liver.

Interested people will be protected by the Rwandan National Police from the starting point until the end.
