Hon Mujawamariya promises Akagera International School advocacy to become a University

She said that during a graduation ceremony that took place at its siege located in Kirehe district. Hon Mujawamariya who was the guest of honor, lauded the efforts provided by both school authorities and administrative bodies who invested in and supported the education sector in Kirehe district.

As the school grows both in student’s performance and infrastructures, it needs more support to perform better and faster.

Hon Mujawamariya reminded the gathering that the Kirehe dwellers deserved a school well equipped to enhance people’s intellectual and physical well being.

The Head master of the Akagera International School Abdulwahab Shabani Harerimana told the gathering that the school management intends to start teaching technical studies in construction engineering, among other subjects.

For him, the main aim is to upgrade the teaching methods at a university level.

As the guest of honor, Hon Mujawamariya focused on the key role that the school plays in the district and in the region at large. The education that the school provides improves people’s health and prepares children for a better future.

The Akagera Internatonal School is attended by children from various national backgrounds.
This makes it more attractive and inclusive.

The Mayor of Kirehe District expressed his appreciation about the school performance as one of the best performing ones in the district.

He promised close partnership with school authorities to help in the efforts in upgrading its teachings at university level.

Since its inception, the Akagera International School was attended by 900 students among whom 115 passed the national examinations and performed at the highest level with 100% of marks.

Four students from the ones who graduated this Saturday studied kindergarten studies, other 54 studied primary school while other nine students completed the Tronc commun cycle.
