President Kagame meeting with RDF senior officers

H.E Paul Kagame, The President of The Republic of Rwanda and Commander- In- Chief of Rwanda Defence Forces today 27 August 2014 held a meeting with RDF Generals and Senior Officers at Defence Headquarters in Kimihurura.

“The Commander-In-Chief discussed with the RDF operational readiness in the maintenance of security as key to national development. The RDF culture of discipline, honour and commitment that has defined RDF for over two decades has made it a pillar of national and regional security”, said Brig Gen Joseph Nzabamwita, Defence Spokesperson.

This is a routine meeting The Commander-In-Chief holds with the RDF.

H.E The President had last met with RDF on 27 January 2014.

The meeting was headed by H.E Paul Kagame, the Army chief Gen Patrick Nyamvumba and the Defense Minister Gen James Kabarebe
