Evode Imena who formerly served as the State Secretary in the Ministry of Natural Resources is reported to be jailed for having unlawfully privileged some of his subordinates while in office. The RNP Spokesperson ACP Theos Badege confirmed the information adding that others two people are facing the same allegations.
ACP Theos Badege informs that Imena was arrested on Friday alongside other two individuals suspected to have backed him this misconduct.
The RNP spokesperson reveals that the former State Secretary in the Ministry of natural resources has abused his power in allocating illegal favors to some his former co-workers.
Evode Imena was the youngest senior official to have integrated the cabinet in Rwanda.The cabinet meeting held in October 2016 deposed him from his duties.
He was 31 years old at the time he joined the cabinet in 2013.
