Renowned Congolese musician Koffi Olomide has been arrested in the capital, Kinshasa, reports the BBC’s Poly Muzalia from the city.
The reason for the arrest is unclear, but it comes after his deporation from Kenya on Saturday for allegedly kicking one of his female dancers at the main airport in the capital, Nairobi.
He denied assaulting her the Omojuwa.com reports.
