Bank of Kigali sees its shares devaluation at 1.43%

Bank of Kigali equity has devaluated at 1.43%, as the statistics from Rwanda Stock Exchange on Thursday, July 21 have revealed.

The trading session recorded a total turnover of 21,094,900 Rwandan Francs from 1,700 Bralirwa shares, 7,700 BK shares and 266,800 from the CTL shares.

RSE reports that in general the market has relatively slowed down compared to Wednesday trading session that recorded a total turnover of 384,677,000 Frw.

Surprisingly, BK’ share value recorded the worst devaluation of the year that is of 1.43%.  It therefore has dropped down for 4 Rwandan francs, from 279 Frw to 275.

Throughout this month, BK share has devaluated to 1.78%, it has fallen from 280 Rwandan francs to the recent share price of 275 Rwandan Francs.

This week, the equity market of Rwanda has recorded ups and downs in terms of turn over, but share prices of six out of seven companies registered on Rwanda Stock Exchange were  fortunately stable.
