Airtel Rwanda rewards first winners in the Airtel Money promotion

Alfred Hategekimana, a father of 3 and a construction worker in Kigali town has become the first winner of the Airtel money promotion.

The promotion which was launched last week, will reward active subscribers who transact using the Airtel Money platform, with daily cash prizes for thirty days. Airtel Money subscribers will be able to win daily cash prizes totaling up to 225,000 RWF per day as they transact using the Airtel Money.

“I was totally surprised when I got a call from Airtel informing me that I had won money worth 50,000 francs. I used Airtel Money three days ago to send money to my sister-in-law and that got me a chance to win this money”, Hategekimana excitedly said.

Second winner Gabriel Ndatimana, a garage staff in Kigali town also won 50,000 francs.
