Rwandans living in the USA with friends gathered in Dallas Texas State to commemorate the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.Among the participants were the Ambassodor of Rwanda in USA, Professor Mathilde Mukantabana.

Many Rwandans from across different cities of the USA including San Antonio, Abilene, Houston, Fort Worth among others,…were present to remember how the genocide against the Tutsi was committed in 1994.

The Rwandan artist Emmy was invited to provide witness on what he saw during the genocide.

The artist lives in the USA. Professor Mathilde Mukantabana said that the survivors are and should continue to be committed at building a better future for their own and of the nation at large. The Rwandan singer Ngabo Medard (Meddy) participated in this commemoration event that took place in Dallas, Texas.
